As part of their pledge for a more sustainable future, Heron Electrical will plant one tree in the UK per every solar panel our customers invest in as part of their new solar PV system.

For every commercial or public sector solar PV project, they will assist in funding for global renewable energy projects, and any business to business solar PV works will result in trees planted around the world (example locations: Madagascar, Uganda, Peru).

What is Ecologi?

Ecologi is a subscription or single payment based service whereby individuals and businesses can sign up to compensate for their carbon footprint by planting trees across the world. As well as having the opportunity to help fund climate projects such as solar power and wind generation farms.

Their mission is to allow people from all walks of life to help tackle the current climate crisis. We join 39,485 Ecologi members, who have funded 56.6 million trees, avoiding 2.4 million tonnes of CO2e (figures from January 2023).

Ecologi works with amazing UK-based tree planting organisations to restore the UK’s woodlands. The trees will capture and store carbon over the course of their lifetimes’ and help to provide vital habitat for UK wildlife.

The advantages of increasing tree cover in the United Kingdom are many: from removing carbon from the atmosphere, to reducing the risk of flooding during heavy downpours, and enhancing air quality.
